Due to oil emulsified in micro bacterial sediment (microbial)/(scum) in the discharge waste water which may end up into STP, they are short of oxygen and always floating around on the surface of vicinity. They also contained hydrogen sulphire.

If high amount of organic substances entering to the plant processing areas, such as aeration and sedimentation basin, they may cause the system malfunction. The treatment process in these areas will be having processing difficulty of floating microbial sediment and unable to make treatment function normally and failed.

WETS DAF Plus System (PTP) - (Mirco Bubbles Dissolved Air floatation System). This system of treatment is to separate the oil / fat & chemical from microbial sediment by pushing the bubbles up to the surface of water and thus get rid of oil & fat from emulsion (FOG) up to 92% and suspended solid more than 80% (SS), killing eagerly germs more than 60% (BOD). The floating suspended solid on the surface will be removed by skimming mechanism. Coagulant and flocculation process with chemical can be added to form aggregate and joint together small solid particles to form floc or bundle and improve solid removal.

The pretreated water is now can be discharged into STP for their further treatment process. Bad odor reduce and aeration and sedimentation process are improving, making STP function accordingly and normally and successful.

However indue to different authorities may require different effluent standard or intake parameter of treated water into their treatment plants and to comply to their standard guideline (Standard A or B). Therefore DAF plus++ compacted treatment system can be upgraded for further and higher treatment process. The system require more reactors and equipment to be added and installed. This will be able to help for further removal efficiency of substances from the waste water and provide better and higher effluent quality of treated water and able to comply to their standard guideline of requirement.

Note : In the water oxygen only (1%) but Outside water oxygen is (21%)
